Mother TJ will present these sessions, beginning in February, roughly every other week for five-to-six months, depending on scheduling interruptions. The class is primarily designed for teens and adults of all ages who wish to prepare for the rites of Holy Baptism, Confirmation (adult affirmation of infant/childhood baptism), Reception (formal reception as a member of The Episcopal Church from another Christian denomination), or Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows (generally to mark a significant change in one’s faith life). However, ALL are welcome! The class will meet for 60-90 minutes in the downstairs Adult Formation classroom following the 10:30 service. Only those preparing for a rite of the Church need attend every class; others may attend some or all. Classes via Zoom will be arranged, and the classes will be recorded and made available for viewing. In-person attendance, however, is strongly encouraged.
